Purple Mountains is the eponymous debut studio album by American indie rock band Purple Mountains. It was released on July 12, 2019 by Drag City. It is the first new music from David Berman since he disbanded Silver Jews in 2009. Created over the course of five years, the album experienced many failed attempts at writing and recording with different musicians and producers. It was eventually made with members of the band Woods and recorded mostly in Chicago but also in Brooklyn.
Shades of Purple is the debut studio album by Norwegian pop duo M2M. It was released in the US on 7 March 2000 by Atlantic Records. It reached No. 7 in Norway, No. 89 on the US Billboard 200 and No. 1 on US Top Heatseekers chart. The single "Don't Say You Love Me", which had already been released as the lead single of the Pokémon: The First Movie soundtrack in October 1999, appears on the album. A further two singles, "Mirror Mirror" and "Everything You Do" were released throughout 2000.

The Purple Album (Whitesnake album). The Purple Album is the twelfth studio album by British hard rock band Whitesnake. It contains remakes of songs from Deep Purple band lineups Mark III and Mark IV, when Whitesnake lead singer David Coverdale was a member of that band. It was released on 29 April in Japan, 15 May in Europe, 18 May in the UK and 19 May 2015 in the US through Frontiers Records.
