A Decade of Delain: Live at Paradiso. A Decade of Delain: Live at Paradiso is a video and audio release from the Dutch symphonic metal band Delain. It was recorded at the Paradiso in Amsterdam on December 10, 2016 for the band's 10th anniversary. The live album was released on October 27, 2017. Charlotte Wessels – lead vocals. Timo Somers – lead guitar, backing vocals. Merel Bechtold – rhythm guitar.
Delain continue to prove that every ounce of magic that they bring to the studio is but a snippet of their possibilities when performing live. The Glory and the Scum, also from their most recent album, begins with a beautiful fairy twinkle of keyboards from Westerholt before exploding into that deliciously massive Symphonic Metal sound. Their first live album "Decade Of Delain - Live at Paradiso" is a splendid, two CD-set fueled by some seriously incredible highlights. Naturally, hits like "Suckerpunch" and "We Are The Others" find their place in the track listing, as well as the beast of an opener "Hands Of Gold," which features Arch Enemy's Alissa White-Gluz in what amounts to an epic duet. Flawless chants and solo guitars lift this live record to a monumental state.
