Emmett spent three years writing his debut solo album, Attic Faith, in Ireland, the UK and Denmark. Attic Faith was released in 2005 to great critical acclaim, and was nominated for the 2006 Choice Music Prize. Emmett Tinley first entered the Irish music scene as the lead singer of The Prayer Boat. Based in Blessington, Co. Wicklow, The Prayer Boat released two albums, Oceanic Feeling (1991) and Polichinelle (1998).

It is one of the largest music venues in the Chicago area, with a capacity of up to 28,000 spectators; 11,000 reserved seats, 17,000 lawn seats.
