There are not enough bands like Trollskogen out there anymore. Black metal’s obsession with evil and all things necro has led to a decline in quality music in the industry, with all these underground artists, with exceptions of course, sounding more or less the same, dull and uninspired. Trollskogen, however, operates in a genre slightly different, with melodic, brooding black metal that is more mood-altering than necromongering. Of the few bands that attempt a similar path to Trollskogen, even fewer can attest to talent and sincerity like this.

It is a personal work channeled from transformation, being reborn out of elemental forces and from bringing spirit and body into tune with nature and the elements. A step forward from the very dark trilogy of the old albums into a new light and another dimension which will unfold.
