Oh, the newspapers came and made Jody a national hero. Walter and Eric said they'd put him on a network TV show The White House said, "Put the thing in the blue room" The Vatican said, "No, it belongs to Rome" And Jody said, it's mine but you can have it for seventeen million  .

Light Up the Sky is the third studio album and fourth album overall from contemporary Christian music band The Afters, which the producer on the album is Dan Muckala, and was released on September 14, 2010 by INO Records. This album has seen some commercial and critical success.

Slayer's Seasons In The Abyss album cover. Slayer aren’t just known for their extreme music, their artwork will go down in history as some of the most controversial and bloodcurdling in heavy metal history. Here we look back at each studio album cover and how the thrash titan’s visual aesthetic changed over the past 32 years. Show No Mercy (1984). And that’s how it came out! Hell Awaits (1985). Tom Araya told The Quietus that artist Albert Cuellar put together this sleeve overnight. Perhaps this frantic speed of turnaround is why the skeletal demon beasts fighting in the fiery pits of Hell bear a distinct resemblance to similar images in a 1977 issue of the comic Heavy Metal. No one seemed to notice until 2011, when excellently-titled blog Bang Your Head Or I’ll Rip It Off uploaded pdfs of the story Approaching Centauri, drawn by French artist Jean Giraud.

Slayer, the long-reigning titans of thrash, returns with Repentless, the band’s 11th studio album and its first album for Nuclear Blast. Produced by Terry Date, Repentless was written and recorded by guitarist Kerry King and singer/bassist Tom Araya at Henson Studios in Los Angeles, along with returning drummer Paul Bostaph and guitarist Gary Holt. During Jeff’s illness, friend of the band, guitarist Holt stepped in to help out on tour with Jeff’s blessing and stayed on. Around that time, drummer Dave Lombardo exited the band for the third time and Paul Bostaph, (who played with the band from 1992 – 2001), returned to take over the throne.

Slayer, the long-reigning titans of thrash, returns with Repentless, the band’s 11th studio album and its first album for Nuclear Blast. Slayer never skipped a beat and since Holt and Bostaph both played in Exodus, it was mily. But it didn’t come easily. As guitarist and Slayer co-founder Kerry King puts it, I remember the day that Jeff died.

The sky is turning red Return to power draws near Fall into me, the sky's crimson tears Abolish the rules made of stone. Pierced from below, souls of my treacherous past Betrayed by many, now ornaments dripping above. Awaiting the hour of reprisal Your time slips away. About Raining Blood. One of Slayer’s signature songs both concludes and gives its name to their most acclaimed album. Often, they perform in the midst of a rain of stage blood. Hanneman explained that it’s about a guy who’s in Purgatory ‘cause he was cast out of Heaven. He’s waiting for revenge and wants to fuck that place up. King later said that the rest of the song explains what happens when he starts fucking people up.

The Black Album of Slayer everyone praises it for two or three songs, but forgets the rest of the album is filler, sure it is entertaining but no where near the caliber of seasons in the Abyss or South of Heaven - germshep24. Deserves more praise. This is the best metal album ever, by far, to be put out by men over 50. I would put this up against 90% of bands, past and present, that are in there 20's. Best one of Slayers new albums. The most underrated slayer album. The only album which can compete RIB at violence. As good as South Of Heaven or Seasons.
