anyone else have a lock-groove at the start of side B?

I too am thrilled to have this in my collection. These tracks sound *so* much better and 'beefier' than the originals. Just amazing. Major kudos to Alden Tyrell on the mastering. Hard to pick a favourite between Black Sea and Wavejumper, but I think Black Sea just edges it!

I'm not a big fan of those remastered versions... it's not totally annoying but they've overdone the compression a bit, imo

They just sound darker and have way less dynamics, if this means "better" to you....

The track itself is a couple of seconds longer, but it has too much compression on it: http://imgur.com/a/WC2fC

What sounds better? Can you explain more precicely? Haven't heart this release on "real vinyl", but according to my experiences the originals have better sound than remastered ones... I am always very sceptical, if someone does mess around with old tracks, where the former maker did have a clear plan how these tracks should sound.
