Dekoor Close Harmony (1985) is a choir of 30 students of the Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Conducted by Christoph Mac-Carty, the choir brings a mix of jazz, gospel and pop to the stage, while occasionally experimenting with classical and world music as well. Whats more, I believe that in peoples imaginations, world music means a kind of fairly awful, gloppy, hippy-ish.

Features: Dekoor is a close-harmony choir consisting of 28 active students of the University of Utrecht. With enthusiasm Dekoor makes a spectacle out of every concert. In the past fifteen years, the Dekoor Close Harmony has developed into a much-appreciated choir. Partly owing to the musical director, Johan Rooze, Dekoor is presently known as one of the better amateur close-harmony choirs in the Netherlands.
