Living on My Own" is a song by Freddie Mercury, originally included in his first solo album Mr. Bad Guy. It was released as a single (backed with "My Love Is Dangerous") in September 1985 in the United Kingdom where it peaked at number 50. The July 1985 release in the United States had "She Blows Hot & Cold" as its B-side.

The songs on the album were all composed by front man Jakob Dylan and the musical arrangements featured an array of acoustic instrumentation – including 6-string acoustic guitar, banjo, dobro and pedal steel – complementing the core electric rock timbres and rhythms. In all, this roots rock sound led to much critical and commercial success as the album went triple platinum and was nominated for multiple Grammy awards. The group was formed in New York in 1988 by Dylan and guitarist Tobi Miller, originally using the name The Apples.
Directed by Bryan Singer. With Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy. The story of the legendary rock band Queen and lead singer Freddie Mercury, leading up to their famous performance at Live Aid (1985). See what the cast has to say. Won 4 Oscars.
Freddie Mercury stepped away from Queen to release his first solo album 'Mr. Bad Guy' on April 29, 1985. It served as a reminder of his rangy, often-overlooked skills in the studio, and as an expansion of the more lightly regarded elements of Queen's most recent LP, 1982's pop-focused Hot Space. Only the expectations for a Freddie Mercury project were decidedly different. When it came down to actually doing a solo album, he did sort of miss us. He used to ring me up, and I'd have to fly to Munich to do his background vocals. Watch Freddie Mercury Perform 'I Was Born To Love You'.
