Lee Gamble started out as a teenager dj-ing on pirate radio and on the emerging Jungle scene, however his own approach to music has taken a more experimental direction. Exploring the outer realms of abstraction through digital s, Lee has described his current compositional process as. he configuration of material (ex nihilo) via various digital synthesis methods, prompts further disfigurations and reconfigurations. What you then have left is often the detritus or debris of an idea.

Birmingham-raised, London-based Lee Gamble is a producer and DJ of exploratory electronic/dance music, and owner of the UIQ label. Subsequently, he tracked back to the ‘floor from an oblique angle with the ambient-techno, jungle deconstructions of two defining releases for the PAN label – "Diversions 1994-1996" (2012) and "Dutch Tvashar Plumes" (2012), the latter of which was hailed as FACT Magazine’s "Best British Album" in the "Alternative Brit Awards 2013".

Lee Gamble: I know, especially the first one, although I didn't really spend that much time on it - nowhere near as much as Tvashar. I made it for a radio programme to start with. I've worked solidly since Join Extensions and the tape I did, constantly trying to work out what I'm doing. So as a consequence I've ended up with tons of stuff. I'm doing an EP for Alter actually - Luke Younger 's label - which should be out pretty soon.
