From the album "Galloping Through the Battle Ruins".
Charging through the slaughter Nobly born meet their fate Courage in their victory before destiny. Supply lines feed the endless tide As despotic soldiers March toward our treasured sites Symbiotic decay, strips of flesh melt away As a choking pallor of death with our victory Descends. Radiological waves Biological strains Coagulate Death down from the skies. Armored artillery Mechanized infantry Air cavalry Dead in their tracks, all have died.
Songs: Defile the Angelic, The Banners of Castile, The Entity, Galloping Through the Battle Ruins, The Imperial Clans, Ten Lost Tribes. Arghoslent Discography. Galloping Through the Battle Ruins.
The overall recording package on Galloping Through The Battle Ruins is stellar given the year of release, '98. At the time it seemed like a lot of the better DM bands were still playing with an audible bassist, and this album is no exception. In fact for a good majority of the album you can hear the bass galloping along to the riffs just as well as the rhythm guitar, which is comes as a welcome change for any contemporary metal enthusiast.

For these reasons, it seems like a lot of people never bothered to delve into Arghoslent’s back catalog and give a fair listen to their greatest achievement – 1998’s Galloping Through The Battle-Ruins. The difference is that it feels much less forced down your throat here.
