The Red Hot Chili Peppers is the debut studio album by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on August 10, 1984 on EMI America and Enigma Records. The album was produced by Gang of Four guitarist Andy Gill, and is the only album to feature Jack Sherman on guitar. Sherman was in the band as a replacement for founding member Hillel Slovak, who had left the band along with founding drummer Jack Irons before the album was recorded

He is best known for his portrayal of the fourth incarnation of the Doctor in the science fiction series Doctor Who from 1974 to 1981, a longer tenure than any other actor in the title role, and for his narration of the comedy series Little Britain. His voice, which has been described as "sonorous", was voted the fourth-most recognisable in the UK in 2006.
