B is the second part of Turzi's alphabetic album trilogy. The teutonic rock of debut album, A, that made eyes at Morricone in frenetic style, has become altogether more ambitious. The rudimentary techno flourishes of inspirational leader, Romain Turzi meet the taut, menacing prowess of his band, Four Organ, in a project with global designs. A psychedelic record colored by the use of a variety of eastern instruments (sitar, bouzouki, cimbalom) alongside more traditional rock devices.

His first album was called A, and consisted entirely of songs whose titles began with that letter, and he has followed suit with the follow-up, B. But this time around, all the songs are also named after cities all over the world, from "Baltimore" to "Beijing," making for a bit of an international travelogue. While Turzi ostensibly operates under the umbrella of electronic music, there's as much rock to these tracks as there is electronica.

Turzi biography Hailing from Paris TURZI is the brainchild of Romain Turzi. He started as a solo producer where Record Makers released his album 'Made Under Authority' in 2005. 2009 saw the new album 'B', also released by French Record Makers, this time worked out with the focus on more electronical elements.
