The Perfect Disaster recorded in August 84 this Velvet Underground cover. It first came out as a bonus on the B-side of four track 12" vinyl "What could i do/Given the opportunity" In france on Kampa records/Disc A. n 1985. Then again on the re-issue of their first album: Perfect Disaster by The Perfect Disaster on Glass records GLALP 027 in 1987.

The Velvet Underground is the self-titled third studio album by American rock band the Velvet Underground. Released in March 1969, it was their first record with Doug Yule, who was a replacement for John Cale. Recorded in 1968 at TTG Studios in Hollywood, California, the album's sound-consisting largely of ballads and straightforward rock songs-marked a notable shift in style from the band's previous recordings.

The Velvet Underground is the third album released by the eponymous band. For example, Cale wanted to record this album with amplifiers submerged underwater. Reed would have none of that and gave the band an ultimatum – either Cale goes or he destroys the band. The other members didn’t want to fire him, but faced with the choice of continuing without Cale.
