Kreator - Renewal (1992).
Never to be seen again Ever to release the pain Renewal of our minds Renewal of my mind.
Renewal is the sixth album by German thrash metal band Kreator released in 1992. It is also the last album to feature original bassist Rob Fioretti. The song "Karmic Wheel" contains audio samples from the suicide of R. Budd Dwyer. A music video was made for the title track.

Renewal is "phase 1" from Kreator's experimental period, and it showed us that the 90's were a goldmine for Kreator, because, using their newly found elements, they created one of the best albums the metal scene has ever witnessed. Renewal is a work of pure artistic creativity, it changed the true meaning of catchiness, it's incredibly succesful at creating a fitting atmosphere, and serves as one of the most recognizable albums mankind has ever experienced. And concerning ‘Renewal’ I can only say I really like the album. I’m glad I got the chance to see most of these songs live when Kreator toured in 1992. It is also the last album to feature original bassist Rob Fioretti Contents.
Long-time Kreator fans will know that change is in the air simply by hearing Ventor's drums as they introduce opener "Winter Martyrium" with a very dry, somewhat hollow, and wholly unfamiliar snare sound.
As soon as this album starts out, if you are a Kreator fan, you know something is wrong. It has a slow sort of drum beat, which is kind of cool, but the snares sound a littl. ff. This whole epidemic continues throughout the album, if you can last that long without shutting it off. These poor sounding snares are exemplified most in the song Karmic Wheel. The snares sound awful, and it is very distracting to the overall song.
