Marion Lush's vocals are quintesential to the genre. He tended to sing just ever so slightly sharp which helped make his vocals immediately discernable. He had a nice deep timbre and great timing. He also played a mean trumpet and toured for many years. This CD was made from poor souce material and the master tapes sadly seem to be lost because every Lush CD appears to be made from the same poor LP or cassette sources. If you enjoy this,you would do better to seek out the original DYNO LP's which were pressed by RCA Custom. Marion Lush had records on the USA record label at one time. This further drove the point home for me once I understood the truth and also I believe he loved his country, the USA. This is an OK place to start if you want to explore this great artist.
