True Love Waits: Christopher O'Riley Plays Radiohead is the first tribute album by classical pianist Christopher O'Riley of songs by the alternative rock band Radiohead. The concept of reinterpreting Radiohead's works is not new. Most notably, jazz pianist Brad Mehldau recorded covers of "Exit Music (For a Film)," "Everything in Its Right Place" and "Paranoid Android.
True Love Waits" is a song by the English alternative rock band Radiohead. Radiohead first performed it in 1995, and singer Thom Yorke performed it solo on acoustic guitar or Rhodes piano in the following years. The band and producer Nigel Godrich attempted to record the song for the albums OK Computer (1997), Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001), but could not settle on an arrangement, and it became one of their best-known unreleased songs.
Set of the day by cersei. Perhaps the most interesting part of O'Riley's album is his selection of Radiohead songs: he has chosen a broad view of the band's music, including tracks from earlier.
True Love Waits Lyrics. I’ll drown my beliefs To have your babies I’ll dress like your niece And wash your swollen feet. Just don’t leave Don’t leave. I’m not living I’m just killing time Your tiny hands Your crazy kitten smile. And true love waits In haunted attics And true love lives On lollipops and crisps. About True Love Waits. True Love Waits was first played in 1995

While casual Radiohead fans can enjoy the basic sonic pleasures of A Moon Shaped Pool, the band rewarded die-hard devotees with the album’s closer True Love Waits, a 1995 track that’s never made it on to a recording despite multiple efforts. Featuring some of Thom Yorke’s most romantic lyrics, the song has transformed over time from an acoustic number to a sparser, more profound electronic-based version heard on the new record. Now that we can queue up a studio version at will, let’s take a look back at the song’s evolution
True Love Waits" is the closing track of Radiohead's ninth LP, A Moon Shaped Pool. It was previously released on the live album I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings in 2001. Prior to this release, it was one of the most requested live songs in the band's catalog, performed on occasion prior to the release of OK Computer and during the Kid A and Amnesiac tours.
