The Guru Guru is a unique mix of Noise & Psychotic Rock with Inspiration drawn from bands like Sonic Youth, METZ, Pere Ubu, Melt-Banana & Deerhoof. In the spring of 2014 they released their first self-titled EP consisting of 5 songs in which the madness runs wild, like running down a stairs too fast with your pants down.

GURU GURU is a Krautrock, Progressive Rock artist from Germany. GURU GURU were one of the first bands to become associated with the German Krautrock movement from that era along with bands such as XHOL CARAVAN, AMON DUUL and CAN. However, the band was not partial to the absurd stereo-typing and preferred the terms "acid space" or simply, "acid rock" which better described their loud, trippy, improvisational music.
