Singer-songwriter Angel Olsen drops the solid, expressive record I've been waiting for since I heard her music back in 2012.

My Woman (stylized as MY WOMAN) is the third studio album by the American singer-songwriter Angel Olsen, released on September 2, 2016 on Jagjaguwar Records. Produced by Olsen and Justin Raisen, the album was accompanied by music videos for the tracks, "Intern", "Shut Up Kiss Me", and "Sister" all co-directed or directed by Olsen. My Woman was recorded at Vox Studios in Los Angeles with producer Justin Raisen.

After releasing new single Intern last week, Angel Olsen has announced a new album. On September 2, she’ll release MY WOMAN via Jagjaguwar. The album features that newly released track, and a press release states that the themes on the record concern the complicated mess of being a woman. Olsen is also releasing a companion 7-inch single titled Others’ Blues, which features covers of Roky Erickson’s For You and Bruce Springsteen’s Tougher Than the Rest.
