This is a bootleg full of Demos and a few live recordings made by the influential punk band Operation Ivy who would go on and influence bands such as Rancid.

Found this in a flea market in Cambridge, England. This is out of print and only several hundred copies were ever pressed.

Energy is the only studio album by the American ska punk band Operation Ivy. It was originally released on vinyl and cassette in May 1989 through Lookout! Records with the catalog number LK 010. Although the album itself has never been released on CD, all of the tracks were featured on the career-spanning compilation Operation Ivy issued by Lookout in 1991.

Unreleased Energy is a bootleg compilation album by the hardcore punk/ska punk band Operation Ivy containing several tracks which later appeared on Energy. Tracks 13 - 30 were recorded in a studio set up at Gilman in 1988 and this was intended to be their first album. This compilation album also contains the EPs Plea for Peace and '69 Newport. The album was released in 1996 through Red Robin Records.
