White Fence is the eccentric lo-fi rock project from California native Tim Presley. The sound they created was a nice mix of both their styles. White Fence now has a new album on the way, entitled Cyclops Reap, and by the sound of this new single, it seems Ty Segall has inched Presley a little bit towards more mainstream songwriting. There are still odd tunes on Cyclops Reap, no doubt, but there is a lot more clarity in the songs than on previous White Fence records.

Tim Presley’s White Fence outfit will follow up last year’s Ty Segall-featuring Hair and its accompanying two volumes of Family Perfume with the gnarly-titled, Cyclops Reap. Turn it up loud, especially for the crashing finale that closes this out in ways that would make your greying pops (or surly uncles) smile. Cyclops Reap is due out April 9th via Castleface.
