If you are looking for a live compendium of some of Thin Lizzy's most well-known songs, this is a decent one. It lacks some of the intensity of their live albums, but each song is competently performed and is a good introduction to the music of Thin Lizzy. Average, but still worlds better than today's Top 40.

Thin Lizzy, the celebrated Irish hard rock band, returns with "Still Dangerous: Live at the Tower Theater Philadelphia 1977," a long-lost classic concert recording, on March 3. Guitarist Scott Gorham,who relaunched the band in 1996 as a tribute to former bass player and singer Phil Lynott, is hoping the stash of recently discovered tapes that contained the upcoming "Still Dangerous" masters will yield even more archival treasures. I don't remember us having a while shitload of outtakes, but there's stuff that didn't get finished or didn't get on this album or that album. Like an album and three singles after Whiskey In The Jar, man, you'd get people mentioning 'Whiskey Jar' in interviews – and I'd go 'Oh Jeezuz. That was how far behind the press got on the band. They really lost contact. There was a real "prodigal son" reaction from the crowd. This audience was so orgasmic for Thin Lizzy that they even leapt to their feet and rushed the stage after Brian Downey's drum solo. Lynott remained stage center for most of the set, intimidating the audience with clenched fists. The demand for an encore were really quite rapturous.

Chinatown is the tenth studio album by Irish band Thin Lizzy, released in 1980. It introduced guitarist Snowy White who would also perform on the next album as well as tour with Thin Lizzy between 1980 and 1982; he replaced Gary Moore as permanent guitarist. White had previously worked with Cliff Richard, Peter Green and Pink Floyd. Chinatown also featured seventeen-year-old Darren Wharton on keyboards, and he joined Thin Lizzy as a permanent member later that year.
