Sky Is the Limit (2006) is the debut studio CD by this Polish modern prog sextet plus guests. The band says that this CD is conceptually divided into sides 1 and 2 like a vinyl LP, with side 1 containing gentler songs with child-like female vocals and side 2 containing music with more power and a rock beat, with some male vocals. The music is heavy at times, spacey and Floydian at others. They frequently blend in creative electronic textures and samples, showing some Tangerine Dream influence as well as modern electronica. The vocals are in English except for one section of one song where one.

SKY IS THE LIMIT, phonographic debut of HIPGNOSIS, was created between March and September 2005 with help of Łukasz Gorycki. It was recorded in Krakow's studios FPGS and Hipgnosis-Art Studio. In the same time Łukasz took part in realization of the solo record of the legendary guitarist of Pink Floyd David Gilmour. Unfortunately, musicians did not meet each other. That was pity since Pink Floyd is one of the most important inspirations of the band leader of HIPGNOSIS – SQ. HIPGNOSIS has sentiment to analog records. That’s why the time of SKY IS THE LIMIT is only 40 minutes, and pieces.

Hipgnosis biography The band was founded in Krakow in 2004. The band made one album in vinyl in 2005, 'SKY IS THE LIMIT' with the help of Tukasz GORYCKI who took part in the realization of the solo record of DAVID GILMOUR. In October 2007, the band made a live record 'STILL UMMADELLING' with half an hour of new music including a cover of PINK FLOYD's ''CAREFUL WITH THAT AXE EUGENE''. In November 2011, a new record was released, ''RELUSION'' inspired by the book ''GOD DELUSION'' by RICHARD DAWKINS. The line-up is SEQ (synths), KUL (lead vocals), THUG (synths), IJON (piano and synths), PRINCE OLO (guitars) and PI TU (bass guitars and backing vocals) The music is space rock with influences of PINK FLOYD and TANGERINE DREAM with ambient and electronic music.
