Public Enemy in It Takes A Million do fantastically to deliver a very strong, but perhaps vague, message of uprising and revolution- however there is little sophistication or self-analysis to this message that is held by The Infamous. Indeed it has inspired many to do the same since, with perhaps only Eminem achieving the same kind of introspection and complete honesty, while even more recently rappers like 50 Cent with his hard, too many attractive lifestyle and Kendrick Lamar with his incisive analysis fail to achieve this same compelling combination

1980s was a amazing decade for hiphop and public enemy is the groups that brings to the world such a politic yet impactful album. The instrumentals are so damn weird for the time but its so fire. Chuck D raps about his community and america in that time. Even with the politics the album still comes off as fun as hell to listen to. Flavor Flav does his job as a hype man and does a pretty good job at it. But his rapping was ass and it kind of ruined the album. This album is one to still great.

Public Enemy lyrics - 190 song lyrics sorted by album, including "Don't Believe The Hype", "Fight The Power", "So Whatcha Gone Do Now?". album: "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back" (1988). Bring The Noise Don't Believe The Hype Cold Lampin' With Flavor Terminator X To The Edge Of Panic Mind Terrorist Louder Than A Bomb Caught, Can We Get A Witness?

2014 Def Jam Records Public Enemy release. Public Enemy had recorded the song in October 1987 for the soundtrack of the forgettable Less Than Zero. Carlton Ridenhour) first heard the final version, he said, "I practically threw it out the window. He changed his mind later that year when Public Enemy were on tour in England. Bring the Noise," along with "Rebel Without a Pause" and "Don't Believe the Hype" – all conceived in 1987 at the group's Hempstead, Long Island, studio, Spectrum City – would become the foundation of It Takes a Nation of Millions, an album that's loud, obnoxious, funky, avant-garde, political, uncompromising and hilarious all at once. Chuck may have been disgruntled over "Bring the Noise," but he always liked "Rebel Without a Pause," the track that introduced Public Enemy's trademark sirenlike horn squeals.

Main sample for song She Watch Channel Zero?! is a sample of the Slayer's song Angel of Death, from the album Reign in Blood

This was repressed in 2000 and was in limited quantity. All these releases have stickers on them with the number of the pressing on it.
