Whatever and Ever Amen begins with the impossibly rowdy piano pop of One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces, and announces the second Ben Folds Five record like a smack in the face. Brick packs an emotional punch, detailing Folds’ high school girlfriend’s abortion over delicate, pensive progressions, and Song for the Dumped ups the energy with its punk sneer. Evaporated closes the curtain with Folds’ existential malaise at the forefront, his voice supported by poignant instrumentation accentuated with dramatic strings. Whatever and Ever Amen Ben Folds Five.

Whatever and Ever Amen is the second album by Ben Folds Five, released in 1997, featuring songs like "Brick", "Kate", and "Song for the Dumped". The album has been out of press for over 15 years. Now it's been remastered and brought back with a 180gram vinyl pressing. Every song here is fun and catchy, and the lyrics are always fun to listen to closely. He usually tells some pretty funny stories as well as some genuinely emotional ones. This is his most commercially successful album as it had the monster hit (and classic) song "Brick", which is definitely his best song. This is just fantastic piano-driven pop rock. Everything about it is perfect and it's indeed very emotional!

Whatever and Ever Amen is the second album by Ben Folds Five, released in 1997. All of the extra tracks had been previously released (as b-sides, soundtrack contributions, et. except for a cover of the Buggles song "Video Killed the Radio Star", which is a staple of Ben Folds Five's live show. Whatever and Ever Amen. Studio album by. Ben Folds Five. Helped by a comedic video directed by Norwood Cheek, "Battle of Who Could Care Less" helped the band break through in the UK in early 1997. The album's original cover featured individual photos of Folds, Sledge, and Jessee, along with a hand-drawn Ben Folds Five logo, and a hand-drawn "Whatever and Ever Amen. The 2005 remastered version shuffled these photos around, and added a fourth photo of all three bandmates sitting together.
