Monty Python's Flying Circus is the first album produced by the Monty Python troupe, released in both the UK and US in 1970, with the US version featuring a back cover slightly different from the original UK version. It features newly recorded versions of sketches from the first Monty Python's Flying Circus television series. Next to the television show itself, the album was the first piece of media the Pythons released

The vast majority of the Python catalog can be found on CD, and this title graced the medium for a very brief time in the mid-'80s as part of the BBC's Audio Visual International series. Whizzo Butter is indistinguishable from dead crab. Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson has only one shed. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition. But Monty Python's Flying Circus subverts all expectations with their trademark surreal humor. 30m. For quicker service, a housewife chooses death. The Ministry of Silly Walks fields a grant applicant. The crimes of the Piranha Brothers are recalled. 2. The Spanish Inquisition.
