I Love To Tell The Story. Set track as current obsession. From 1988 to 2001, he was the baritone in the Gaither Vocal Band. Lowry attended Liberty University (called Liberty Baptist College at the time) from 1975 to 1980. He intended to get a business degree, but instead followed a self-described "spiritual calling" into the music business, and he ended up singing in many independent Baptist churches in the United States. All of these lines across my face Tell you the story of who I am So many stories of where I've been And how I got to where I am. But these stories don't mean anything When you've got no one to tell them to It's true I was made for you. I climbed across the mountaintops Swam all across the ocean blue I crossed all the lines and I broke all the rules But baby I broke them all for you. Oh because even when I was flat broke You made me feel like a million bucks You do I was made for yo. Oh but these stories don't mean anything When you've got no one to tell them to It's true I was made for you Oh yeah, well it's true That I was made for you. More on Genius. This song was the title track of Carlile’s second album, released in April 2007. It was written by Carlile’s bandmate Phil Hanseroth. A cover by actress Sara Ramirez was used on the TV show, Grey’s Anatomy, boosting the song’s popularity.
