Description

Spectrum is the debut album by jazz fusion drummer Billy Cobham. The album contains much influence of the music of Miles Davis and Mahavishnu Orchestra, with whom Cobham had previously collaborated extensively. Tommy Bolin, who would go on to join the hard rock band Deep Purple two years later, plays the lead guitar.

The Manhattan Project is a jazz fusion album, the only recording to be made by a band of the same name comprising Wayne Shorter, Michel Petrucciani, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White, Gil Goldstein and Pete Levin. The album was released in 1990 on via Blue Note label. The arrangements were written by Lenny White and Gil Goldstein, and the album was recorded live before an audience at Chelsea Studios, New York, with Alec Head engineering. Executive producers were Michael Cuscuna and Stephen Reed.

The Spectrum (album). The End Records is an independent record label located in Manhattan that specializes in rock, metal and electronic music. The End Records was founded by Andreas Katsambas in Pasadena, within three years it became a full-time job and Katsambas moved the office to Salt Lake City in 2002. The next three years were critical in expanding the label which began signing bands such as The Gathering, Arcturus and many more.
