Vulgar Display of Power is the sixth studio album by the American heavy metal band Pantera, released on February 25, 1992. Released on Atco Records, it is often considered one of the most influential heavy metal albums of the 1990s. Several of its tracks have become among the band's best known, such as "Mouth for War", "A New Level", "Walk", "Fucking Hostile", and "No Good (Attack the Radical)".

Vulgar Display of Power is one of the most important and influential metal records of the 90's. Arguably Pantera's masterpiece, this record is THE example of groove metal. Any groove record during that era was using this album as a guide. Even the classics like Machine Head's Burn My Eyes and Sepultura's Chaos . were following this album. Hell, even Pantera's own Far Beyond Driven record used Vulgar Display of Power as a blueprint. This album is just a masterpiece

Power Metal is the fourth studio album by heavy metal band Pantera, released in May 1988 through Metal Magic Records. It is the first Pantera album to feature Phil Anselmo on vocals, as part of a line-up which would last until the band's official split in 2003.

Vulgar Display of Power. The priest asks Regan to prove she is the Devil, to which she responds that would be too much of a vulgar display of power. Sean Cross is the man on the cover shown being punched. Contrary to popular rumors, Cross was never actually punched according to Brad Guice who took the image.

Vulgar Display Of Power ‎(Cass, Album). Pantera were one of the first metal bands I got into way back in the day, and I'm sure there was a time when I first purchased this CD that I thought it was awesome, even though I'd never really heard it enough times to familiarize myself with it. As a result, years of neglect and seeing absolutely nothing but the highest reverence for it has set the bar very high. has failed to live up to my expectations.

Probably the heaviest album ever to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart, Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power proved that, even in an era of alternative rock supremacy, heavy metal fans were still a force to contend with. Blending eerie, surging grooves influenced by Black Sabbath with thrashy speed metal riffs, Pantera created a bleak, oppressive disc that captured both ends of the speed spectrum without resorting to cliché, abrupt tempo shifts
