Y Categorisation at least by artist and year. C class: Y All the start class criteria. Y A reasonably complete infobox, including cover art. N At least one section of prose (in addition to the lead section). Y A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs. The Slickee Boys were a Washington, . area age rock band whose most-remembered lineup consisted of guitarist Marshall Keith, guitarist Kim Kane, singer Mark Noone and drummer Dan Palenski. The group was named after a . slang term for the rockabilly-inspired Korean street toughs who sold black market goods to American soldiers.
Live at Last" is a document of one night on that tour, at Ubu in Rennes, France. The CD version of this album contain two extra tracks, "Your Autumn Eyes" and "(Are You Gonna Be There at The) Love-In" .
Despite being recorded in a French nightclub, the sound is crystal clear and the vocals are perfectly comprehensible. The band's mix of new wave hooks with garage pop is catchy, but either the tracks were deliberately grouped to put all the straightforward material on one side and the weird stuff on the other, or the band had a very divided set on the night this was recorded. This changes as soon as the second half starts, and the band crashes into the Cramps-like "The Brain That Refused to Die".
Recorded live at Ubu, Rennes, France (may 21 1988) Remixed at Hit + Run Studios, Rockville MD, USA. ℗ 1989 Giant Records. Matrix, Runout: GRI6037 MADE BY DISCTRONICS (H) . Other Versions (4 of 4) View All. Cat.
