Wanted Man is a compilation album from country singer Johnny Cash and was released in 1994. This album contains some popular songs of Cash like "Wanted Man" and "The Night Hank Williams Came to Town"; it also has the remake of the song "Ballad of A Teenage Queen" (from the 1988 album Water from the Wells of Home). When Cash signed with Mercury Records, his popularity went down, but the album got some attention. It does not contain his 'big hits'.

Johnny Cash's populist fusion of folk, country, and gospel done up with an unhurried, plainspoken eloquence made him both a country icon and an American treasure. Whether singing his own songs or covering songs written by young alternative rockers in his autumn years, anything he touched became vintage Johnny Cash as soon as he stepped to the microphone

Johnny Cash, born J. R. Cash, (February 26, 1932 – September 12, 2003) was a Grammy Award-winning American country singer-songwriter. Cash is widely considered to be one of the most influential American musicians of the 20th century. Cash was known for his deep, distinctive voice, the boom-chick-a-boom or freight train sound of his Tennessee Three backing band, his demeanor, and his dark clothing, which earned him the nickname The Man in Black. He traditionally started his concerts with the introduction Hello, I’m Johnny Cash
