Self Portrait (Loma Prieta album). Self Portrait is the fifth studio album by the American hardcore punk band Loma Prieta. The Jack Shirley-produced album was released on CD, cassette and digital platforms through Deathwish Inc. on October 2, 2015, followed by a vinyl release on November 13 also through Deathwish

Self Portrait is the 10th studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on June 8, 1970, by Columbia Records. Self Portrait was Dylan's second double album (after Blonde on Blonde), and features many cover versions of well-known pop and folk songs. Also included are a handful of instrumentals and original compositions. Most of the album is sung in the affected country crooning voice that Dylan had introduced a year earlier on Nashville Skyline.

Fifth Studio album (sixth overall, excluding, Self Portrait, a compilation) from the Kenso band that is now still a quintet but revolving around guitarist Shimizu and keyboardist Oguchi, the rest of the members having changed since the early 80's' line-up. Dream Hill (that's the album title's translation) comes with a peaceful pastoral landscape of a heard and again features most tracks written by Shimizu, leaving the two keyboard players Oguchi (2) and Mitsuda (1) crumbs, and his music seems inspired, even thematic as the album is book-ended by Phases De La Lune tracks. From what I gather, it would be another 8 years before Kenso would record their next album, Esoptron, a more Crimsonian jam-band affair, but I have no idea why they kept sileny for so long. Way over-rated, certainly; but still worth a spin.

Two years later they released Kenso 2nd, and Kenso 3rd was released in 1985. One year after, they released a live album, In Concert and the following year the group released Self Portrait, a compilation album. The group's next album, Sparta, was released in 1989. Two years later they followed that release with Yume no Oka. A new recording of Sparta was released in 2009 along with a live album and documentary. KENSO continues to have occasional live shows and public appearances in Japan.
