Album (also known as Compact Disc or Cassette depending on the format) is the fifth album by the English rock band Public Image Ltd, released on 27 January 1986. A departure from their previous releases, John Lydon was advised by trusted music producer Bill Laswell to take on an all-star cast of session and trusted musicians, including Steve Vai, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Tony Williams and Ginger Baker. The resulting album gave PiL one of its highest charting songs, "Rise".

I think it bears mentioning that the version of . It's not radically different from the lp version, kind of a more stripped down dub version, but it definitely is worth checking out. Also, the instrumental of Warrior is a remix as well, but the "instrumental" tag sort of leads you to believe it's just a straight vocal-less take of the album version.

9 (Public Image Ltd album). 9 is the seventh studio album by Public Image Ltd, released in May 1989 on the Virgin Records label (see 1989 in music). The band that recorded 9 consisted of John Lydon, bassist Allan Dias, guitarist John McGeoch and drummer Bruce Smith. Former guitarist Lu Edmonds left the band by the time the album was recorded due to problems with tinnitus. Ted Chau, who replaced Edmunds in the band, does not perform on 9. The album was produced by Stephen Hague, Eric "ET" Thorngren, and the band.
