It’s been over four years since DJ Shadow put out a proper full-length in The Less You Know, The Better. However, the producer seems to be aiming for a comeback in 2016, as he’s just released a brand new single. Said to be off a forthcoming as-yet-untitled album, Swerve is a zigzagging banger of a track that proves DJ Shadow’s not lost his touch one bit. Stream/download it below. We haven’t heard a full new DJ Shadow album in four years, since The Less You Know, The Better, and the EDM world is feeling the deep withdrawals. When we spoke to the legendary producer earlier this year, he had begun work on his new album in earnest, but with an evolved outlook on life and the priorities therein it seemed as if he’d be taking his time on the next endeavor.
