Enric R. Madriguera (Barcelona, 17 February 1904 – 7 September 1973) was a violinist of Catalan origin who was playing concerts as a child before he studied at the Barcelona Conservatory. The Castilian form of his name is Enrique, which he sometimes used on records. Whilst still in his twenties he was lead violinist at Boston's and Symphony orchestras before becoming the conductor of the Cuban Philharmonic.

Enric Madriguera was one of the first bandleaders to play authentic Latin music in the . Born in Barcelona, and the brother-in-law of guitarist Andres Segovia, he became enamored of Afro-Cuban music while touring in Cuba. Here, he performs the exotic instrumental "Jungle Rumba" and backs vocal solos by Patricia Gilmore, Hector Rivera (who went on to great fame), Tom Eldridge and the Holidays. The only other track by Desi Arnaz and his Latinos is the Afro-Cuban standard "Similau," sung in English. Unlike his later work, the singing is relatively straightforward and plaintive, but there is some very deep, sinister music behind him!
