Raymond van het Groenewoud (Schaerbeek, February 14, 1950) is a dutch-speaking Belgian singer-songwriter and author-composer. From 1972 on Raymond mixes candid observations on human behavior with his own, unique sense of humor.

Despite being promoted as a compilation album featuring Van het Groenewoud's most popular songs, eleven out of the 18 tracks are re-recordings of his hit singles and album tracks, with two additional new songs, and five original recordings, dating from 1977 to 1988. One of the new songs, Liefde Voor Muziek, became the biggest hit of his career when released as a single (as a double A-side with the re-recording of Meisjes). Track 18 is Ik Ben De Man (Single-Versie).

Raymond van het Groenewoud (born 14 February 1950) is a Belgian musician. He was born in Schaarbeek, of Dutch descent, and he sings primarily in Dutch. His biggest hits include "Vlaanderen Boven", "Meisjes", "Je Veux de l'Amour", "Zjoske Schone Meid" and "Liefde voor Muziek". He refers to himself as a musician but also a poet, philosopher and clown. His debut was as a guitar player with Johan Verminnen. In 1972 he started the group Louisette with Erik Van Neygen.
