From the start, CEO and widower Georg Anker-Hansen (Toralv Maurstad) was one of the most central figures in the series and his romance with the escort girl Ninni Krogstad (Henriette Lien) was the main story. After a year Georg died of incurable cancer in the pancreas, and Ninni inherited the entire concern, which led to major conflicts with Georg's dominating mother, Astrid (Sossen Krogh), and especially Georg's children, Juni (Anette Hoff), Jens August (Kim Kolstad), and Julie (Elin Sogn).

Her debut album as a leader is double length; she leads a different band on each disc. The first features her trio with pianist Johan Lindvall and cellist Katrine Schiott. Henriette wrote 12 of its 15 pieces (the pianist wrote the remainder). These short compositionally economical works focus primarily on the sound of the group rather than Henriette as a soloist. Disc two is especially focused. Henriette builds on fragmentary ideas and integrates them into strategic wholes. The suite-like segment from "But We Did" through "Breathe" and the back-to-back chamber works "Bare Blacker Rum" and "& the Silver Fox" are examples. As a whole, this is an auspicious, provocative debut.

II: A Bustle in Your Hedgerow is the second album by Down, released on March 26, 2002. The subtitle "A Bustle in Your Hedgerow" is borrowed from the lyrics of "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. This was Down's first album in seven years since the release of NOLA, the longest gap between the band's three studio albums to date.
