Description
Julissa (born Julia Isabel de Llano Macedo on April 8, 1944 in Mexico City, . Mexico) is a Mexican actress, producer and singer. She is the daughter of radio and television personality Don Luis de Llano Palmer and actress Rita Macedo. Her children are: Benny Ibarra (a singer, musician, producer and actor) and Alejandro Ibarra (actor and singer); and her brother is a Televisa staff producer, Luis de Llano Macedo. She was a cast member of the 1975 Mexico production of The Rocky Horror Show; a young Aida Pierce was a chorus member. The album received a Tu Música Award for Best Christian Album, and a Tito Lara Award for Album of the Year. It was also nominated for two Viva Awards in Guatemala for International Album of the Year and International Singer of the Year.

Julia Isabel de Llano Macedo, also known as Julissa, was born in Mexico City, April 8, 1945. The daughter of Luis de Llano Palmer (pioneer of radio and television) and actress Rita Macedo. Is sister telenovela producer Luis de Llano Macedo began his career at age 14 singing rock group The Spitfires, who won the 2nd place in a competition of radio and as a result signed with CBS. Since then he has recorded several hits of rock and has participated in several soap operas and in more than 35 films Vaselina, El Show De Terror De Rocky (2xCD, Comp).

Orfeon CD premiere compilation issue of material originally issued by them on two separate LP's in the mid-to-late 1970's (Orfeon LP-16H-5148 and LP-13-2277, respectively!), featuring the original Mexican cast albums of "Grease" and "The Rocky Horror Show," starring Julissa in both productions, her then-husband Benny Ibarra, Héctor Ortiz, Luis "Vivi" Hernández, Adrián Ramos, and Rocio Banquells in "Grease," and a further group of unidentified performers and musicians in both productions. The packaging includes a simple four-page booklet with blank inner pages, a color front cover featuring the cover photo from the original "El Show De Terror De Rocky" LP issue (superimposed with graphics for the new combined CD issue!), and a black-and-white back cover featuring (incomplete!) track and technical information.
