Brian Peter George St John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno, RDI (/ˈiːnoʊ/; born Brian Peter George Eno, 15 May 1948) is an English musician, record producer, visual artist, and theorist best known for his pioneering work in ambient music and contributions to rock, pop, and electronica. A self-described "non-musician", Eno has helped introduce unique conceptual approaches and recording techniques to contemporary music. He has been described as one of popular music's most influential and innovative figures.

As guitarist of Queen, Brian May has recorded some of the most iconic guitar solos in the history of rock music. uDiscover picks ten of the best. For me, the guitar is a lead instrument and can be a voice, but it has to be always playing underneath the vocal, Brian May explained to Guitar Player in 2012. This is what I tell my guitarists all around the world who play in We Will Rock You -be free and be creative, but always remember that if you’re doing something that messes up the vocal, you’re in the wrong playing field

Brian Eno discusses Reflection. Reflection is the latest work in a long series. It started (as far as record releases are concerned) with Discreet Music in 1975 ( - or did it start with the first Fripp and Eno album in 1973? Or did it start with the first original piece of music I ever made, at Ipswich Art School in 1965 - recordings of a metal lampshade slowed down to half and quarter speed, all overlaid?) Anyway, it’s the music that I later called ‘Ambient’. My original intention with Ambient music was to make endless music, music that would be there as long as you wanted it to be. I wanted also that this music would unfold differently all the time - ‘like sitting by a river’: it’s always the same river, but it’s always changing. But recordings - whether vinyl, cassette or CD - are limited in length, and replay identically each time you listen to them.

The book starts out poorly with way too much name-dropping and Dennett admitting that he heckles lecturers for fun. He has very basic ideas of "thinking tools" and then uses very complex examples with very limited context. In these examples he takes cheap shots at fellow philosophers, while not providing enough context to really be able to agree that Dennett is in the right. I will use an analogy: You have a lightbulb.

Turn me upside down and I’m right side up Empty my glass and you fill up my cup, I’m always on time and I’m never late, I never go backwards at any rate. Sink this ship last or the war is for naught, All other enemies should be first caught, This one’s the evilest looking of them, Shaped like infinity is its emblem I used to fly poorly, but now I swim, Sometimes I would cross the road on a whim, I’m medicine for the sick, stuck in bed, Even though I, myself, float around dead.

By this I mean the drives and other deep facts about our biological and psychological make-up as human beings which were forged into us over thousands of generations by the fires of evolution. These include things like our powerful urge to have sex (and not always with our spouse), our relatively short-term ability to pair-bond (since the brain circuits for adult pair-bonding evolved to tackle only the relatively short-term task of childrearing), and the fading of passionate love after the early stages of a relationship (for related reasons). 2) Marriage values: Most modern marriage vows entail an explicit promise by the couple involved to be sexually exclusive to each other, through thick and thin, so long as they both shall live. Perfect fidelity is considered non-negotiable, and adultery is usually seen as a serious moral failure.
