Indeed, the strength that resides in this album is the way it tells a story while remaining very consistent from one track to another, releasing an energy that quickly makes you forget the urge to dance on electronic music. They’re part of the best band to compose some tracks that can carry us with such intensity, and their fourth album R7349 is the proof. Always based on sonorities borrowed from the films of the 80s (synthwave’s world), this album is very good and complements widely the soundtrack of The Stranger Things (composed by half of the group)

As previously reported, RR7349 is the first release from the project since band members Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein skyrocketed to attention via their similarly minded score for Netflix drama Stranger Things. While not explicitly referencing the show, moody, high-tension keyboard stomps like "Wardenclyffe" feel like they could easily score a creepy journey into the Upside Down. The collection also taps into '80s-illuminating elements of ambient electro and Carpenter synth whimsy via pieces like opener ".

Survive (often styled S U R V I V E) is an electronic band consisting of Michael Stein, Kyle Dixon, Adam Jones and Mark Donica formed in 2009 in Austin, Texas. The Austin-based quartet have been producing synth-heavy, ced compositions for almost a decade, exploring these themes through drum machines and analog synths across various single, EP and LP releases and contributions to soundtracks such as acclaimed indie horror film The Guest.
