24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault is the eighth solo studio album by the American singer-songwriter and Fleetwood Mac vocalist Stevie Nicks, released on October 7, 2014, through Reprise Records. Recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles, the album includes new versions of demos that Nicks primarily recorded between 1969 and 1987, though two songs date back to 1994 and 1995

Tentatively titled "24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault," Nicks' forthcoming collection includes lost and stray tracks that she's written and recorded through the years, but never made it onto an album. The selections for "24 Karat Gold" were all newly recorded, and co-produced by Nicks, Dave Stewart and Waddy Wachtel. Nicks' publicist, Liz Rosenberg, says that Nicks hopes to release the album in October on Reprise/Warner Bros. She recently recorded the "24 Karat" tunes in Nashville, and will continue working on the album in Los Angeles.

Reggae fans nostalgic for the early days of dancehall will get a kick out of this compilation, which features 24 hits from the early to late 1980s, the period during which dancehall was emerging as a distinct reggae subgenre but well before the ascendancy of the computerized rhythms and ragga. That doesn't stop 24 Karat Gold from being very enjoyable, but it's an annoyance.

The 24 Karat artwork will feature never-before-seen Polaroids taken by Nicks throughout her career, while the deluxe photobook CD boasts 48 pages of pictures from her private collection alongside two bonus tracks. Along with the release of 24 Karat, Nicks' fall will be dominated by another Fleetwood Mac tour, this one reuniting the group with keyboardist and singer Christine McVie, who left the band in 1998
