Blue Murder is the debut album by the hard rock band Blue Murder, released in 1989. It reached on the Billboard 200 in June 1989. The back of the album states that it is dedicated to Phil Lynott. Many of the lyrical themes contained in the album echo those of Thin Lizzy as well. All songs written by John Sykes, except where indicated.
Blue Murder were an English hard rock band, founded by ex-Whitesnake, Tygers of Pan Tang and Thin Lizzy guitarist John Sykes. Blue Murder was formed by John Sykes in 1988. As he was largely elemental for the success of Whitesnake's g self-titled album, their label Geffen signed a record deal with Sykes following his dismissal from the band.
The Voyage is a 2005 album by Irish folk musician, Johnny Duhan containing his internationally famous modern Irish folk classic "The Voyage". The idea to write on the family theme grew organically out of Johnny's earlier excavations of family history in some of the songs on his Just Another Town album.
