The jacket is fully laminated, and does not have the lenticular picture on the front. In fact, an alternative picture is used for non-lenticular sleeves. This is most evident by the fact that Mick's hat is pointing slightly to the left, and his hands are not exposed.
The front and back of the sleeve are fully laminated. The gatefold is not.
There is a stereo/mono indicator hole in the top-right corner on the back of the sleeve.
The first catalog number appears on the labels, the second on the sleeve.
Made in England.
The back cover shows an ''indicator hole'' to let the inner sleeve peep through: blue = stereo, red = mono. This mean that it is an early 1969/70 reissue.

Their Satanic Majesties Request is the sixth British and eighth American studio album by the Rolling Stones, released in December 1967 by Decca Records in the United Kingdom and London Records in the United States.

Their Satanic Majesties Request, despite moments of unquestionable brilliance, put the status of the Rolling Stones in jeopardy. They have been far too influenced by their musical inferiors and the result is an insecure album in which they try too hard to prove that they too are innovators, and that they too can say something new. The album is marred by poor production. In the past there has been a great gulf between production styles of the Beatles and the Stones.
Did the Rolling Stones intend Their Satanic Majesties Request to be a spoof of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band or was it a sincere attempt to siphon some of the magic of the Beatles’ masterpiece? This question has hung over Satanic Majesties ever since its release in late 1967, perhaps due to the persistence of the perception that the two groups are locked in a deathless rivalry, or maybe just because their album artwork is so similar-not entirely surprising, considering how both ornate cover images are based on photographs snapped by Michael Cooper.
Without a doubt, no Rolling Stones album - and, indeed, very few rock albums from any era - split critical opinion as much as the Rolling Stones' psychedelic outing. Many dismiss the record as sub-Sgt. Pepper posturing; others confess, if only in private, to a fascination with the album's inventive arrangements, which incorporated some African rhythms, Mellotrons, and full orchestration.
Their Satanic Majesties Request is the sixth British album released by The Rolling Stones, and it's US counterpart is consequently their eighth American studio album released. It was released in the UK on December 8, 1967 by Decca Records, and then the following day in US by Decca's American branch, London Records.
Most Rolling Stones fans who received Their Satanic Majesties Request as a Christmas present back in 1967 would have had something of a shock over the band’s new album. The record, which had a working title of Cosmic Christmas, was nothing like the sort of bluesy rock which had made them such a global success since their 1964 debut album. Their Satanic Majesties Request, which came out on 8 December 1967, is probably the most unusual of the Stones’ 20-plus studio albums, and perhaps the one that still polarises opinion the most. The album was recorded between February and October 1967, during a turbulent time in the Stones’ career.
