In Hearts Wake is an Australian metalcore band from Byron Bay, formed in 2006, currently consisting of vocalist Jake Taylor, bassist and singer Kyle Erich, lead guitarist Eaven Dall, drummer Conor Ward, and rhythm guitarist Ben Nairne

Ark is the fourth full-length album from Australian metalcore band In Hearts Wake. The album was produced by Will Putney, who also worked on the band’s split with Northlane. Instead of travelling across the world like they’ve done in the past, the band wanted to stay at home in Australia for the recording process, being granted important inspiration while remaining in their natural habitat. With Ark, they build on subjects and themes from their previous records Divination, Earthwalker and Skydancer, but approaching them from a different angle. Ark was released on May 26, 2017, through UNFD, and reached number 3 on the ARIA Charts. On February 2, 2018, the band released the EP Ark Prevails, which features reimagined versions of three songs off Ark and a new ambient instrumental outro. The EP was hinted at in the CD booklet of Ark

Byron Bay’s In Hearts Wake have been changing minds and lives since 2012, and with fourth album Ark they are looking to inspire change like never before.
