Album · 2002 · 9 Songs. Honour Valour Pride Bolt Thrower.

Honour Valour Pride showcases the band's tendency toward slower-than-usual tempos, and even boasts an intelligent lyrical story line.

Honour – Valour – Pride is the seventh album by the British death metal band Bolt Thrower. It was recorded and mixed at Sable Rose Studios in Coventry, England, June to September 2001. It was produced by the band and Andy Faulkner, and was released on Metal Blade Records in 2002. Honour – Valour – Pride is the only full length Bolt Thrower album not featuring Karl Willetts. All songs written by Bolt Thrower. Dave Ingram – vocals. Gavin Ward – guitars. Barry Thomson – guitars.

Honour - Valour - Pride" offers the gnawing guitars that probably all of us like to hear when it comes to the sonic attacks of the British combat unit. They roll out the red carpet for the somehow ominous, every now and then almost fragile melodies, before the brute voice of Karl Willetts destroys any form of fragility. However an unassuming Bolt Thrower experience this album proved, though, I still found this a more interesting 45 minutes than the previous album. The architecture is comparable, but the songwriting was slightly better arranged. It's an 'okay' disc, the problem is that 'okay' is just not good enough for Bolt Thrower.
