Island Records, Island Records. 205 240, 205 240-320. vinyl has awesome sound and Palmer shows how divers he can be, but this time being excellent in each style. The silver Gun is one of the most stunning songs I know and its a pity but no surprise the album was commercially not that succesfull. IMHO his masterwork! Reply Notify me Helpful.

On 24 January 2012 Culture Factory an independent label reissued Some People Do What They Like, Double Fun, Secrets and Pride in a miniature replica of the original vinyl packaging and with remastered sound. The reissues also had miniature "obi's" and the label on the CD is a replica of the original label

Pride is the seventh solo studio album by the British singer Robert Palmer. It was originally released in March 1983. The album peaked at No. 37 in the UK Albums Chart  . Pride was reissued on 2011 by Culture Factory USA, an independent label that specialises in cult artists. The label side of the CD features a replica of what the original Island label looked like at the time of issue and even features "grooves" as if the black CD is made of vinyl.

Robert Palmer Format: Audio Cassette. And yes, I too saw him perform live (at Park West in Chicago) and the show was superb. Robert was always the consummate professional and his recordings and live shows are a testament to his dedication and talent. I bought this re-issue in hopes of getting the 12" Extended Dance Mix of "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On" from Robert Palmer's RIPTIDE album. Published on September 3, 2013.
