Mind Control take a turn for the mellow on its second half, bringing their psych influences into prominence. Follow the Leader is the most subdued number here, with marimbas accentuating soft feedback, while Devil's Work 's heavy, plodding intro builds up into a dark dirge. Most of the songs on Mind Control are worth a few spins, but nothing on here quite matches I'll Cut You Down from Uncle Acid's 2011 album Bloodlust
