Midfield General survived the diminishment of big beat rather gracefully, and on GENERAL DISARRAY, he tries to rejuvenate the genre. Disco Sirens" has a solid thump and "137 Piano" thrums with nervous energy. Bass Mechanic" brings back the thump with some acid for good measure, and "Teddy Bear" features some creepy CB poetry. Dennis And My Sister" edges into mid-tempo house territory.

Midfield General, aka Damian Harris, known for his early contributions to the break beat scene and close ties with Fatboy Slim, will release new long player General Disarray in September.
