The mercury program chez viking 2009 full album. Their first two albums featured sparse, spoken vocals. However, with the release of the EP 'All the Suits Began to Fall Off' and onwards they become entirely instrumental. Their style is described as intricate and groove-led with many categorizing them as post-rock. After the release of 'Confines of Heat' in 2003, The Mercury Program took a much needed break. Then over the next several years they worked on new material in a much more relaxed manner. New Album Releases.

Gainesville, FL-based post rock quartet the Mercury Program assembled guitarist/vocalist Tom Reno, bassist Sander Travisano, nist Whitney Travisano and drummer David Lebleu. Debuting with the single Lights Out in Georgia, the group issued their self-titled first LP in 1999. From the Vapor of Gasoline followed in the spring of 2000, and All the Suits Began to Fall Off arrived a year later.

New Myths" EP out May 20th on Lovitt Records. The colored vinyl is on 180g vinyl as well. Actually all the vinyl is even a bit heavier than that - it’s around 192g. This record is the first thing out of the brand new Furnace Record Pressing plant in Virginia. They knocked it out of the park. Tour starts in less than a week.
