С технической стороны альбом получился не очень качественным по звучанию, так как после его записи не предпринималось никаких попыток студийного редактирования, которое применяется обычно в случаях выпуска концертных альбомов

It was produced by Terry Knight. This release went RIAA Gold almost immediately, and earned GFR their fourth Gold Record Award in just one year. The raw energy of these live performances was captured without the use of any re-mixing, over-dubs or enhanced audio engineering.

Grand Funk Live Album (1970/2002 CD). The original 2 LP set is complete on this single CD and despite its being remastered, the cuts are not fiddled with (we get the performances, warts, glory, and all). For the Grand Funk fan, this is an essential live album. For others, there is a lot to like about these energetic performances. While I do not think this is the greatest think since sliced bread, I still want these recordings in my collection.

Love it or hate it, the album is a solid collection of performances from Grand Funk Railroad’s original three-piece lineup dating to shows in Florida in late June of 1970. It, like Grand Funk’s studio albums up to that point, was produced by the band’s manager Terry Knight.
