Rhonda Lea Vincent (born July 13, 1962) is an American bluegrass singer, songwriter, and t. Vincent's musical career began when she was a child in her family's band The Sally Mountain Show, and has spanned more than four decades. Vincent first achieved success in the bluegrass genre in the 1970s and '80s, earning the respect of her mostly male peers for her mastery of the progressive chord structures and multi-range, fast-paced vocals intrinsic to bluegrass music

Vincent has performed with dozens of country and bluegrass singers, including Dolly Parton, Faith Hill and Martina McBride. Parton called her personally to sing on her album Those Were the Days and even visited Vincent in Kirksville, where she still lives with her family, when she underwent surgery last year. Vincent and her family come to St. Louis whenever possible, mostly for Cardinals games and the barbecue at Bandana’s. She made a point of stopping in St. Louis on her honeymoon to take her husband up in the Arch
